Occupation continues – visitors are welcomed

All who will stand with us in prayer are welcome. If you live near the Bay Area, please consider stopping by for a few hours, or a few days. Your presence will be very appreciated. Directions to Glen Cove can be found here. We will remain on site until an agreement is reached that protects the ancestors.

Current requests from the group: shade structures, tents, paper towels, banner/sign making supplies, rope, moist hand wipes, Bronners soap, honey, and most of all, more people to stand with us. We do not need any more bottled water!

To send a message to the group, just leave a comment on any of the articles of this website. We will print out these comments and post them at Glen Cove, for participants to read!

Hi, I went to the site today (Sunday, April 17) for the first time. Everyone was really welcoming and this makes me want to come back and ask more questions. I am eager to learn more about the past and present struggles of the local Native American communities. I would also like to do whatever I can to assist in preserving the Native Californian heritage and history. Specifically the Sogorea Te site.

I am also a visitor who was welcomed, despite the trying circumstances. I am moved and educated by the respect and reverence exhibited by the people standing vigil on behalf of the ancestors and the land at Sogorea Te. I hold in high esteem those who have made the committment to take on this honorable work.

I would like to say thanks a whole lot for that job you have made in writing this post. I am hoping the same perfect work by you later on also.
